Mark Minevich and TGSV assembles high powered delegation to St.Petersburg Economic Forum with President Putin

St. Petersburg, Russia - June 19, 2006

Mark Minevich and TriGlobal Strategic Ventures (TGSV) participated in the 10th Annual International Russian Economic Forum hosted by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin at the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex in St. Petersburg on June 13-15, 2006. The Forum was organized by the Ministry for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation.

According to the Forum's program, over the decade that it has been in existence the St. Petersburg Forum has become quite a significant event in Russia, being a representative institution of the integration into the international economic system. Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, opened the ceremony on June 13 with a plenary session that addressed competitive advantages of developing countries within the context of globalization, the most important issues currently concerning both Russia and the world society, and the strengths and weaknesses of the Russian economy. Many world authoritative representatives participated in the Forum, including Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation; German Gref, Minister of Economics and Trade of Russia; Anne Krueger, the First Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund; Joseph Stiglitz, the Nobel Prize Laureate in Economics, the Ministers of Economy of the four BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) and many others of the world's business and political elite. Delegates also took part in the four exhibitions at Lenexpo Exhibition Complex: Advanced technologies in the Oil and Energy Complex, Innovation Achievements, an exhibition of investment projects, and an exhibition of the Forum's countries-participants. The programs of the Forum were rounded out by cultural events, which gave the participants of the Forum a chance to get to know Russian culture better.

Mark Minevich, prominent book author, global technology visionary and Co-Chair of BTM Institute led the TGSV's delegation which included former Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Barak whom Russian President Vladimir Putin met for a brief meeting to discuss Barak's views on the situation in the Middle East and the settlement of the Israel-Palestinian conflict as well Eddie Trump, CEO of Trump Group and Elite Models; Vitaly Pruss, a TGSV partner, stated: "It was a great pleasure to welcome Messrs Barak, Trump and Minevich to St. Petersburg to participate in the 10th Annual International Russian Economic Forum with TGSV. This Forum proved to be crucial for building stronger relationships between the East and West. We were honored to host such prominent political and business leaders."
